Information on the statutory right of withdrawal and the cancellation conditions of Hotel Königstein.
Statutory right of withdrawal for accommodation contracts
Pursuant to Section 312g(2) no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for contracts for the provision of services in connection with accommodation for purposes other than residential purposes if the contract provides for a specific date or period. This applies to hotel bookings with fixed arrival and departure dates.
This does not mean cancellation is impossible. What applies are the conditions of the rate you selected – these are shown to you before you complete your booking.
Cancellation conditions by rate
The booking engine states the applicable conditions for each rate. As a rule:
- Flexible rates: free cancellation up to the point stated in the rate conditions.
- Saver and prepaid rates: payment on booking, no refund in the event of cancellation or no-show.
- Group and allotment bookings: separate conditions by written agreement.
How to cancel
Please notify us of a cancellation in text form – by email to info@h-km.de or by phone on +49 89 350 36 0 with subsequent written confirmation. Please state the booking number, the name and the period. What matters for meeting the deadline is receipt by us.
Right of withdrawal for other contracts
If, outside an accommodation contract, you conclude a distance contract with us as a consumer to which the statutory right of withdrawal applies, you may withdraw from it within fourteen days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us – Hotel Königstein GmbH, Frankfurter Ring 28-30, 80807 Munich, Germany, email: info@hotel-koenigstein-muenchen.de, phone: +49 89 350 36 0 – of your decision by means of a clear statement, for example by post or email. To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient that you send your notification before the period expires.
Withdrawing consent for external services
You can withdraw your consent to the embedding of external services on this website – booking system and map service – at any time via the cookie settings. The lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point remains unaffected.
